Hell hath no fury like Apple scorned! Looks like Apple is not amused by ‘iGasm’ iPod sex toy advertisements and feel its in bad taste. Now Apple is threatening to sue iGasm if they don’t remove the provocative ads.

“iPod-maker Apple is threatening to sue a sex shop over a vibrator that hooks up to an iPod and has similar advertising to that used in posters for the digital music player,” Simon Jary reports for PC Advisor.

Jary reports, “Apple is demanding that stores remove all posters for the gadget, called an iGasm. ‘We hope this request to remove it immediately will prevent us having to consider further action,’ said Apple lawyers.”

Jary reports, “The Ann Summers neon-pink ads feature a sexy woman with wires coming out of her iPod and into her knickers, teasing ‘ Go at it hard and fast with a pounding drum and bass track or chill with the ambient classic.’”

MoodMaker 3.0.4 Playlist Software Rocks!

NexTune in a press release today announced that their newest version of its digital music playlist software is now compatible with Apple’s® iPod, iTunes and Microsoft’s® Windows MediaPlayer. The MoodMaker version 3.0.4 can easily manage restricted music purchased from iTunes and downloads from music stores featuring Microsoft’s PlaysForSure DRM.

Just In Time For The Season Finale

The only thing that tops my love for the iPod is the TV Show Lost. Hence with the new Lost iPod Game, I am in iPod heaven! The game is now available on the Apple website for purchase and you can play as Jack who is the protagonist of the show. (sorry Locke fans).The Lost iPod game has been developed by Gameloft.

Highly Anticipated iPhone Receives FCC Approval

Apple received the official word yesterday that their revolutionary new cellular phone, the iPhone, has been granted an equipment authorization by the FCC. This is fantastic news for Apple, who had a bit of a scare recently, when Engadget incorrectly published an internal Apple memo that stated there would be lengthy delays in the release of iPhone and the new Leopard OS.

Now that the iPhone has received FCC approval, it is fairly certain that the iPhone will ship on time. According to Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris, “The iPhone has passed its required FCC certification milestone and is on schedule to ship in late June as planned.” Let’s hope this hold true.

Priced at $499 for 4-gigabyte model and $599 for an 8-gigabyte model, the iPhone has a built-in camera, five hours of continuous talk time and 15 hours for playing music, and runs Safari Web browser and Apple’s Macintosh operating system software. It has Bluetooth, a short-range wireless technology that supports wireless headsets or links to devices like printers, and can connect to the Internet wirelessly via Wi-Fi.
