Philips Announces New Docking Stations For The iPod
Philips continues it love affair with the iPod as it released a couple of new iPod music systems and AV Stations. What is unique about Philips is that they have no qualms releasing docking stations which dont support their proprietary GoGear players.
One of the new additions include the BTM-630 music system which is a MP3-CD Player and includes an integrated iPod dock and Bluetooth connectivity. Via the Bluetooth capabilities one can play all their music on the phone. Other features also include; USB port, SD/MMC slot and the ability to burn MP3 and WMA files to CD from USB drives and memory cards.Those looking for something simpler can also take a look at the $199-suggested BTM-628 which is almost identical to the 630 barring the CD Burning capabilities.
Another sweet product to be launched by Philips is the the $399-suggested DCD-778 with support for iPod Videos,DVD player, QUAM/ATSC TV tuner, 8.5-inch LCD screen, iPod dock and an AM/FM tuner.

Considering an iPod cable compatible with car costs you 100 bucks, $199 is an acceptable price.
