Streaming Networks’ iRecord personal media recorder is a pretty nifty device to have around as it can legally transfer dvd movies onto your iPod. Via the iRecord one can easily make copy of the your fav dvds by hooking up the iRecord o your DVD player’s analog audio-video connections and plugging your iPod into the iRecord’s USB port.
One can also hook it up with DVD player, VCR, TV, STB or a Sony PlayStation. iRecord™ is capable of 3 hours of video/audio recording per Gigabyte of storage and uses H.264/AVC for video encoding and AAC for audio encoding. It is available now for $199.99.
